No age is exempt from the
experience of
war, children and teens included - from the child color guard of the U.S. Civil War to the child soldiers in the Sri Lankan army and the Tamil Tigers. To various degrees, the conflicts instigated by adults inevitably affect
the young and innocent - many times robbing them of their childhood and
even their very lives. This website was created to help you research
child involvement in armed conflict, starting with the rebel violence
in Sierra Leone and branching out to other wars that sucked kids into the fray.
